Dear Santa,
My Mami once told me that you'd bring presents to good kids. Well, I've been good. I worked hard in school. I helped my family and friends. I didn't cause trouble, and helped anyone that was in trouble. I remember before, I sent your letters with the stuff I wanted, but this year is different Santa. This year I'm not making my big sister write the letter for me, because this year I want my present to be a surprise for her too.
So please hear me out Santa. Maybe I could have been a better kid. Maybe I could have behaved more and tried harder in school. I was good though because I did listen to my parents a lot of the times and I was nice to everyone. Almost everyone...
But Santa what I want this year for Christmas is very important!
You see I've grown up. So I understand now a lot of concepts that I didn't understand when I was once younger. Much has changed but I never once stopped believing in the holiday spirit. Many of my friends and family have lost sight of this and it truly saddens me. But this is why I began writing to you. This year, Saint Nicholas, I would like you to fill our hearts and remind us what the spirit of the holidays is.
Sincerely,
Still believing.
